Company has strategic plans to increase the overall cooling capacity
Emirates District Cooling (Emicool), a subsidiary of Dubai Investments, recently announced conducting a weeklong performance review test at its AI enabled Expo 2020 cooling plant and unveiled over achieved performance results autonomously.
The performance test has demonstrated reliable demand, load and environmental compliance. The test was conducted by a leading European company to ensure the plant’s efficiency and performance in successfully meeting the cooling requirements of the Expo facilities, a press statement indicated.
“Located in the Expo 2020 Opportunity wing, the plant is designed to maintain highest international standards, incorporating special architectural elements without compromising the technical requirements,” indicated Dr Adib Moubadder, CEO, Emicool.
The Company has strategic plans to increase the overall cooling capacity to 500,000 TR in the coming years across different sectors.
The Expo 2020 plant has also been uniquely designed to operate using direct Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) feed, which provides better discharge quality and ensures a more sustainable approach to water-cooling mechanisms.
