RAC will be at an advantage through the specialized training programs provided by ACI
Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), the operator of King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in the Saudi capital Riyadh, recently announced today that it has become a member of the Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific.
ACI, established in 1991, is the international body representing airports around the world and pursues their interests in discussions with governments and civil aviation international organizations, which aims to enhance cooperation between the civil aviation industry players and improve airports’ regulatory standards.
As a member of ACI Asia-Pacific, RAC is now part of a network of airport operators and other international bodies that will enable RAC to benefit from building local capabilities with other international airports and key industry players.
RAC will be at an advantage through the specialized training programs provided by ACI, as well as by sharing best practices in the areas of security, safety, and information technology, leading to an overall enhanced passenger experience.
“RAC’s membership comes in alignment with the strategic direction of Riyadh Airports Company to increase its contribution to improve the airport’s industry, both regionally and internationally,” stated Eng. Mohammed Al-Maghlouth, CEO, RAC.
