Company partners with Bahrain’s MTT to facilitate greener mobility with its climate-neutral e-scooter service
Europe’s leading micro-mobility provider TIER has touched ground in the city of Manama with the deployment of its industry-leading e-scooter fleet across different locations.
This move came as part of Berlin-based TIER’s ongoing expansion plans in the Middle East, which was achieved through a collaboration with Bahrain’s official authority, the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications (MTT).
TIER’s latest market launch marks Bahrain as the third country in the Middle East for the leading tech company to operate in.
With the mission to ‘change mobility for good’, TIER is looking to fully support the MTT in their goal towards developing the micro-mobility sector in Bahrain by providing the country with the latest generation of e-scooters and e-bikes in the market.
Currently TIER operates in 135 cities and 14 countries globally and the numbers are growing rapidly as part of their worldwide expansion project, a press communiqué stated.
“With TIER’s cutting-edge e-scooters and e-bikes, residents in Manama can experience an eco-friendly, convenient and refreshing way of moving around the city,” stressed Amir Melad, General Manager, Middle East, TIER.
TIER’s e-scooters have the longest lifespan in the market and come equipped with an array of state-of-the-art safety features that ensure the smoothest and safest rides, the press statement concluded.
